About the Project

Overview This is an anniversary exhibition commemorating Saitama Super Arena's 20th anniversary in 2020. It is permanently exhibited in the entrance lobby of the communication space "TOIRO" inside Saitama Super Arena and is widely available for visitors to view. It introduces the 20-year history on a timeline of "past," "present," and "future," and conveys its appeal.
Issues/Themes To preserve the history and topics as a 20th anniversary heritage and to create a place to send out a message for the future.
In order to exhibit the works for a long period of time, a system will be created that allows for some of the exhibits to be changed out in accordance with events.
Space Solution/Realization The 20-year history of numerous events and the brilliance of the memorial are expressed through a timeline and colorful graphics. By layering colorful transparent patterns front and back, the way the colors overlap changes depending on the viewing angle, Spatial Production a shift in the hues of the brilliance.
The exhibition was filled with treasures for fans, such as past posters and artist autographs, making the space look like a case containing sparkling jewels.
Design for Environment 3R design: Reusable aluminum system materials are used for the basic structural materials.
