About the Project

Overview As part of the redevelopment project in Sasebo, this wedding venue was planned as the area's first guest house wedding venue, located in a great location just one minute's walk from Sasebo Station and overlooking the sea. As a complex of wedding facilities including a restaurant run by a French chef, a cafe run by a famous pastry chef, and a flower shop, it offers a one-of-a-kind world that combines the exclusivity of a guest house with the urbanity of a hotel.
Issues/Themes Although the location is conveniently close to the station and with the sea in front of it, it is also in a lively area adjacent to a commercial facility, Spatial Production the extraordinary feeling necessary for a wedding.
Space Solution/Realization Due to the location of the facility, it was difficult to secure a long approach or garden on the outside, so we focused on creating an uplifting feeling the moment you enter the building and a dignified atmosphere suitable for a wedding. Making the most of the guest house environment, we made the most of the location overlooking Sasebo Bay to create a space where the bride and groom and their guests could spend a special time together.
