About the Project

Overview This is a multi-tenant area that opened in front of Nozomi Plaza in Tokyo Station Ichibangai, where antenna shops of famous confectionery manufacturers gather. It consists of four tenants and an event spot that displays new seasonal products. Based on the concept of "a place where delicious smiles meet," we planned an immersive Environmental Design that strongly emphasizes the theme, creating a new worldview that is widely accepted by people of all ages who use the facility.
Issues/Themes To create a worldview that is acceptable to people of all ages and a sense of unity in the area. To provide fun ideas that would appeal to passersby even when the store is closed.
Space Solution/Realization The entire area was designed to immerse visitors in a world that feels as if they are wrapped in gift wrapping, with the expectation of what's inside the gift, the excitement of opening it, and the fun of unwrapping it as common sensations for all generations. The shutters are also decorated with Graphic Design, incorporating Spatial Production that evoke the image of an unopened gift box.
We worked closely with each of the shops that make up the complex to create a unique space that harmonizes with the overall theme.
