About the Project

Overview We have consolidated the sales, technology and business, and corporate departments, which previously operated at various locations in the Tokyo metropolitan area, into a new office in Tokyo called the "DENSO Tokyo Branch." As a base for communication with customers, partners, and government agencies in the Tokyo metropolitan area, we created this space with the aim of generating synergy through stronger collaboration between departments, responding quickly to diversifying customer needs, and providing new value.
Issues/Themes The entrance was to be a space that would welcome customers as the company's base in the metropolitan area and become its face.
The gallery corner will be a collaborative space where employees and groups who previously worked at different locations can introduce their respective businesses.
Space Solution/Realization The entrance is a space based on white, DENSO's primary color, with the D-line and D-cross design motifs, which are part of the company's VI, incorporated throughout the space to enhance the company's identity.
There will also be a space with large tables and a cafe corner where visitors can learn about the latest DENSO technology, creating a co-creation space that will enhance understanding of DENSO.
In addition, the gallery corner was designed in modules, making it easy for employees to change exhibits themselves.
