Employee Voice

The joy of exhibition design expands your own world

I am in charge of Design, Layout museums and exhibition facilities. Designing an exhibition facility includes not only the space, but also graphics, Video, Digital Contents, etc. During my OJT after being assigned to the position, I learned how to design and organize these various elements by participating in actual projects.
Design isn't the only fun part of working on a project. I started mountain climbing and vegetable gardening because of my job. Working on exhibitions allows me to become knowledgeable about a specific field, so I can find new hobbies. Another attraction of this job is learning about a world I didn't know before and enjoying the facilities I designed with my family and friends.

I want to grow every day and contribute to the team.

Before joining the company, I worked part-time at Tanseisha for a year. There were busy and difficult times, but I still wanted to join the company because I wanted to continue working with the people I had worked with.
Currently, I mainly design stores for apparel brands. I was nervous and anxious at first, but I was able to move forward with the help of my seniors when I didn't understand something. When my proposal was adopted and the store opened, I was very happy and felt a sense of accomplishment.
Right now, I am just learning from others, but by working together with the other team members, I hope to grow every day and be able to contribute more to the team.

A design field that transcends all disciplines

It has been three years since I joined the company, and I have worked on designs in a variety of fields, including Showrooms, offices, lounges, ship interiors, Event Spaces, etc. At first, I was overwhelmed by the breadth of my work, but now I find it rewarding to analyze the needs of a wide variety of customers and incorporate them into the design.
Rather than saying, "I don't know because I've never done it before," I would like to strive to create a space that maximizes the value of the "place" by communicating with those around me and complementing each other's knowledge as we move forward.

From a stage design major to a Commercial Spaces designer

I majored in stage design at university. When I thought about my future, I wanted to propose "devices" that would change the way people live in spaces closer to their living environments, so I joined Tanseisha.
Currently, I am mainly in charge of designing restaurants and retail stores. A designer's job is to work with clients and internal members to create the elements necessary for the store and bring ideas together into one form. To do this, input is also important. For me, the greatest stimulation is seeing, hearing and experiencing things I don't know, so last year I used my holidays to travel to 14 places both in Japan and overseas. Being able to work in a way that suits me is also one of the attractions of Tanseisha.
