Contribution to local communities and society

Contributing to the local community and society through space creation

We have developed the "Sustainable Design Guidelines," which outline our efforts to promote "sustainable design," a design methodology for realizing a sustainable society, and are working to solve local and social issues through the creation of a variety of spaces.

  • (2) We will specifically consider ways to preserve and utilize cultural assets, which are the treasures of the region, in order to pass them on to future generations.

Regional Revitalization Initiatives

We are creating spaces that contribute to revitalizing the local community in order to solve local issues. In addition, through our "Community Revitalization Support Office," we examine the issues facing the community from multiple angles and, as a partner of the community, from the initial planning stages of the project to participation in management, we are creating a story of a new future for the bustling community.
We will utilize the research, planning and implementation capabilities we have cultivated through creating locally rooted spaces all over Japan, as well as the know-how of the Tanseisha Group, to create businesses and liven up the area together with local residents.

Participation in "LINKED CITY"

We are participating as a member of the general incorporated association "LINKED CITY Consortium," a corporate group that aims to make local areas shine through the power of digital transformation. We will cooperate in providing a one-stop solution to the Cabinet Office and Digital Agency's initiative to "create the core human resources for the local area" and to realize "satellite offices," and will be responsible for the total coordination (design and production) of the construction of next-generation "satellite office" spaces.

Tanseisha's service, "B-OWND," is a platform created to support artists' creative activities by utilizing technologies such as the internet and blockchain, as well as space. Crafts found throughout Japan are rooted in the natural materials and traditions unique to each region. The sustainability of crafts in each region is also beneficial for the sustainability of local industries and the environment. Through an online marketplace that disseminates and sells Japanese art and crafts, we propose using artist networks and technology to enhance the value of spaces, with the aim of realizing sustainable community development through art.

We will continue our activities to promote community interaction and turn these into concrete projects.
