Overview | As part of Olympus' 100th anniversary project, the Olympus Technology History Museum "Zuikodo" has been expanded and renovated into the "Olympus Museum." Various stakeholders can experience the history of Olympus, which has contributed to society and provided value for many years, through its products and technologies. The aim was to strengthen engagement between guests and Olympus by allowing them to experience and feel the "Olympus-ness" that Olympus has cultivated since its founding. |
---|---|
Issues/Themes | To clearly introduce the history of Olympus as a whole and the history of its three businesses: Science, Video, and Medical. To clearly and attractively present the overwhelming products and technologies that Olympus has contributed to society up until now. |
Space Solution/Realization | A touch-panel digital signage was installed on the entire wall near the entrance. It was designed to attract guests' attention and allow them to easily enjoy guidance on Olympus' history and products. The exhibition room was laid out with three carefully selected products from the three businesses floating on three lines. There was also a corner where visitors could actually touch and experience the products. It embodied Olympus' great achievement of continuing to challenge itself to "see the invisible." |
