About the Project

Overview This is a newly established comprehensive health checkup center within Omiya Mongai, a complex that opened at the east exit of JR Omiya Station in Saitama Prefecture.
Our goal was to create a health checkup center that would be comfortable for those who use the facility and for people in the surrounding area.
Issues/Themes To create a topical facility befitting Health Check's first health checkup center in Saitama Prefecture.
Reflecting the characteristics of the local area and differentiating it from neighboring facilities.
Space Solution/Realization Due to the regional characteristics of the area, where the clinic is located, it was once a post town, so we aimed to create a space where patients can relax and think about their own health based on the concept of an "inn," a place of hospitality in post towns. We also adopted a "modern Japanese" design to differentiate the clinic from the surrounding facilities, many of which have Western-style furnishings.
