| Overview | With the increase in entertainment facilities, Shinjuku's Kabukicho district continues to develop as a world-class entertainment district. Shinjuku Prince Hotel, located next to Kabukicho, is a popular Tourism base for many foreign tourists visiting Japan due to its outstanding convenience, directly connected to Seibu Shinjuku Station. In response to increasing inbound demand, the hotel has renovated its 226 guest rooms on the 16th to 22nd floors to create rooms that will allow you to enjoy Tourism in Shinjuku and serve as a base for your trip. |
|---|---|
| Issues/Themes | To make effective use of the compact and limited space of the guest rooms to improve livability and comfort. To expand the number of guest rooms to accommodate more inbound tourists and groups. To create a base for all guests, including inbound tourists, to enjoy Tourism in Shinjuku. |
| Space Solution/Realization | Based on the design concept of "urban comfort," the guest rooms have a warm atmosphere with elements such as wood and leather, creating a space where guests can relax and escape the hustle and bustle of the city while still being in the city. By utilizing the space under the bed and other areas in a three-dimensional manner to enhance storage functionality, we have increased livability and comfort. In addition, an art wall featuring a map of Shinjuku has been installed on the wall of the guest room, and an AR map has been introduced that allows guests to view Tourism information by scanning it with their mobile phone, creating an opportunity to visit Tourism. |
